Actually, if you want to use the Python unit (i would), you can get an add-on module from Peripheral electronics that makes any remote start manual safe. It will work the same as a manual safe remote start. Sorry about the thread thing, this is like my second time posting something and i really dont know how i would have done that. Is there anything else that i can do, i heard that i can use a magnetic switch to make it so that the wires would read negative or positive whenever it is in neutral otherwise it wont let it start. Has anyone heard of this? Or does anyone have any ideas that may or have worked in the past.

kickassio.....you have NO IDEA how many times this has come up in, say......the last 3 weeks! Most Everyone on this site feels as I do....    get a remote start that IS designed for a manual trans, so you don't kill someone !!!

Yeah taht would be a good idea, except for the fact that all of the "manual safe" remote starters are basically a turbo timers, which wll just make sure that the car stays on when you get off the car. This way the car cant be left in gear. And they suck i am better off with the alpine that i have now that doesnt have remote start. By the way, the python 881 has a turbo timer. Im trying to go further and make sure that it wont start at all if it is left in gear, regardless of the situation turbo timer or not....Im sure someone has done this, and i am attempting to do it myself. The only reason i started this thread was to see if anyone has done it, i really dont want to hear "trade in this unit and get one that is manual safe" it defeats the purpose of this thread. Im trying to go above and beyond and it will work, guaranteed.
