I just got some door actuators for a project but the had no instructions on how to wire them? They are the two wire type and im sure this is easy but I wanted to ask before I mess something up!! If wiring these to respond from a negative output from the alarm, what is the proper way to wire? Do I need to use a relay? I just need it to pull one way to unlock and thats it. Thanks in advance for any help.

You will need two relays ( SPDT 5 pin relays ) and wire it up like this: http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/104.jpg

How would you wire this up if you were adding to a vehicle with no alarm? I just want power locks controlled from a switch in the vehicle. Do you need one or two relays?

Can anyone help?

You will still need two relays. Instead of the (-) inputs from the alarm, wire a 3 pin switch and have it rest a nothing and trigger by grounding the middle pin to ground.
