I have this guy come in yesterday.Asking me what happened to his amp.He had it running and everything was fine intill yesterday.when his tire blew out and he said he started to change his tire and when he ws done he notice his amp smoking he disconected evrything.He has a pyle 4 channel 1000 watt amp.What causes the amp to smoke.I told one of the wires might have beewn touchng.He just kept telling no way.I also have a 10 inch ev speaker now i had it for like amonth when I first had it was working fine then stoped working I put it on yesterday and worked what could have been the problem?? thank for the info.

sounds like when he grabed his tire out of his trunk he might have moved his amp and the wires touched and shorted it out

Now he said that nothing was touching and he own's a pick-up nissan and has his amp on the cab between the seats and he had tape covering all the wires.I just kept telling him all it takes is one second for that amp to burn I just know it wasn't the amp.Can any one tell me if a person who comes at u with this problem what would say to them to do?Also I need halp with this ev?

If this was a new amp from your sotre i would tell him to bring it in and send it back to the manufacture to see if it would be warrented out. this way you keep you customer service reputable. let the manufacture check it out to see if it was the amp. as for the ev im not really sure if this is the same sub on the amp maybe it was the amp getting ready to go and the sub didn't quit just the amp.

As of 1 hour ago I used to work for this dude that would have told that cust. to go "F" himself. I miss the dude already.

SO...on this nissan truck, were are the jack and tools kept....maybe right by the amp....Hmmm.

wadya think?  Operator error is my guess!

The answer is in the question... Don't ever buy anything if the manufacturer themselves call it a pile (Pyle)... LOL
