I am trying to upgrade my 2002 Jeep Liberty keychain factory remote to one of the 2005 integrated remote/keys. My factory alarm/keyless does not seem to want to accept the new remote.

Does anyone know if they are completely incompatible? How can I tell for sure? Do different FCC ID#'s mean incompatible?
