I have a compustar 2WSS-AS alarm and remote start installed.  I was wondering if any one has any information on how to add a window rolldown or sunroof open feature on a 2000 Honda civic?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For the window rolldown and up feature you can use a DEI 530T. If you have a 4 door car then you will use two of them. For the sunroof open and close you can use two DEI pulse timer relays.

I was looking at a few places to buy the DEI 530T and they don't say anything about it working with a compustar alarm.  Is this a problem?

Thanks

The 530T is not alarm specific.  The TWO wires that your alarm system needs to have in order for them to work to full capacity is:

1. a ground (-) output when the alarm is armed (used to tell the 530T to roll up windows when the alarm is armed)

2. a ground (-) output on AUX out (used to tell the 530T to vent windows or roll them all the way down)

I know that the 530T is a versatile device.  As long as your alarm has those two outputs you can most likely use the 530T to full capacity.  I have two in my car (four door) that I got on ebay (brand new) one for $33 and the other for $37, but they usually go for closer to $45 to $50.  They cost $55 brand new, so I wouldn't spend too much more than $50 for one from an auction.

Good luck!
