i purchased a pyramid 1600 watt amp, ss120 kicker subs and a 2100 watt amp kit. i connected everything and the amp still will not turn on. at first i didnt connect the remote turn on wire, but after i figured that out and got it connected my amp light still wont turn on. All wires hav been connected correctly (i think). any information about why my amp wont turn on would help

Does it turn on in protect mode, or does it not turn on at all, as in no lights or anything?  Since its a pyramid amp its possible it just doesnt work, pyramid is bottom of the barrel and many  times their products dont work right out of the box.

test the amp by placing a wire on the remote to the 12v source, if the amp turns on, your amp is fine.

NO, connect a small wire on the amp to the remote over the the 12v source on the amp. so just disconnect your other remote and rig up a small wire to run to the 12v on the amp.
