So i spend a lot of $ and time just to think later that my system was ok,well i was so wrong it's not even funny.I have posted here before and all of you been really nice and i want to thank you guys,so what happen...,well on the way home from work i was listening to a jazz cd from a band from Japan by the name of "Three Blind Mice",i have 3 of their cd's,so this was #2 that just blew me away,i kept looking in my car for the band guys,it came out so clean and detailed freaked me out,all i did different than other times ...i played it louder, much louder. So i redyscovered my own stereo, sounds nuts but it's true.I will tell you a bit about the system and car.The car it's a BMW 3 series sedan, head unit it's from Nakamichi, from there it goes into a PPI eq,then a Sony crossover and from there to 4 amps,3 Nakamichi's that run my 4",5.25" Mb Quarts and the third Nak runs my a/d/s/ 12" subwoofer,so my mids have their own amp,in fact even the tweets have their amp,it's from Rockford Fosgate along with the tweets.I also use 2 capacitors, one 1 F for the sub and the other a 1/2 F for the other 3 amps.Rca's used are from Stinger and the power cables are from Monster Power. The battery it's a Red Top Optima and the connectors are from 3,4 different companies like Phoenix Gold,Stinger,RF and Crankin Power. All components are from high end within the companies products.

So yes all i had to do is just play the think just a bit lauder,it's this normal or i'm just loosing my hearing and i need to crank it up,i hope i'm wrong.Peace everyone !I just learned how good my system really is ! -- posted image.

jesus, I should hope your system sounds good. I run two McIntosh amps straight from an Alpine to MB Quart mids and highs, and 3 JL 12W6's and I thought I was doing pretty good.

Subs and mids need more power than tweeters to reach their full potential.  In my opinion, you do have to turn up the volume to get the full effect of your sound system.

That's correct,my Nakamichi volume knob goes up to 60 and i can go from let's say 25 up to 45 and up and still no distorsion ,i even tried it till 55 and was super loud but clear and no distorsion again, the other day i bought a cd by Patricia Barber and it sounded fabulos. In fact i will recomend her cd's to anyone that likes jazz/blues...she's greatI just learned how good my system really is ! -- posted image.I just learned how good my system really is ! -- posted image.
