I jst got a really good deal on a pair of alpine type S SVC sub woofers. planning to build my own box maybe out of wood or fiberglass.. havent decided yet.. has anyone ever made a box for an Alpine type S sub?? im looking for some info before i start this project.

whats the best kind of box to build. for this sub.?? Ported, Sealed, slotted, ...

how much air does this sub need for the best results??

I listen to lots of bassy music so im hopeing to get as much tight SPL as possible.. planning to use an Alpine MRV-1507 to power the 2 type S subs.

im kinda new to sub box making.. any help or tips would be appreciated, .. thank you in advance.

Sealed. 1.2 cu.ft per sub. Separate chambers.

ported 1.5 - 1.75 cu. ft. per chamber if you are looking for the extended low end bass. If you are looking for a clean sound the 1.0 cu. ft. with displacement. This info is for the 1st gen. of the Type S sub, which I believe is what you have. Either way you will be happy with the Type S.
