Speaker Baffles - Last Post -- posted image.
Can these foam-made baffles make any kind of audible difference?

i was under the impression that these were used to protect the speaker from dirt and moisture depending on location. I   also recall hearing them used on speakers mounted on rear decks with sub enclosures near by, to stop the smaller speakers from getting destroyed by the bass.
Oh and no I don't believe they will add anything to your speakers, maybe interfere a little due to the fact that most speakers this size require a free air application.

I have used them in the past and I do like them. No sound difference at all, but they do keep the speakers clean and are easy to use.

I use them in my doors to protect against direct water in case I'm caught in a good old Iowa monsoon. They also help provide a nice seal around the woofer. I cut a hole in the back of mine to not restrict air-flow.
