I have the compustar installed in my 94 Talon tsi/awd 5speed. Everthing works perfectly other than the turbo timer option. I origonally had it working but I had to reset the compustar for another problem and since then I've tried the programing steps 30000 times but it wont go into turbo mode. Should I unplug the power to the "brain" again and start over or is there some thing that i'm missing? according to the manual I hold I &II til i get the programing chirp...then hit IV seven times for turbo option then II for option two (turbo timer on) however I should be getting a long chirp 30 seconds after to let me know I'm leaving programing, but I'm not. Could that be the problem?

go into programming hit IV seven times...wait till it confrims 7 chirps, then hit II. Do you have the ebrake wire connected? Just wondering.

I've tried that at least 10 times. I also tried reseting all options and starting over. Yes I do have the e brake wire connected and it works fine. Actually every other function works 100% but for some reason it wont enable the turbo timer option. It will run after I take the key out, until I close the door like it is supposed to in order to be in ready to r/s next time. It's odd. I followed the same exact programing setup on my other car with the same alarm/remote start system and it works 100%, and it worked on this car until I had to disconnect the "brain" to reset it because it wouldn't do anything at all. I'm just a little confused. Should I reset it again and go from there? I just didn't want to go through cutting all the zip ties and part removal to get to it, since I have it hidden far out of the way high up in the dash and nearly invisible to see with the dash in place.

Ok thanks. I'll post back as soon as I get a chance to reset it.
