Im going to install my crimestopper alarm into my 96 Honda accord EX coupe.  Im 99% sure that I cant pop the trunk without buying an actuator or popper of some sort, but is there any electronic trunk popper already on the car?  On every wiring diagram but one it says N/A for trunk release, and on that one it says an orange wire (which I havent looked for yet, maybe tomorrow).  Thanks a lot and BTW this is the best site on the net, if it wasnt for this site I dont know if I would be doing it myself!

okay...time for a dumb question...

do you have a BUTTON to pop your trunk or is it a lever by the seat?

if you don't have a button that triggers a trunk solenoid to pop your trunk then your going to have to install one yourself.

You can buy OEM electric trunk releases as well ans all you have to do is replace the current latch with the eletric one. I have installed many of these and it's just a single wire (+) that you hook to your alarm for trunk activation. Check out the price at your local Honda dealer.
