...to get the most power to them....

I have a PPI PCX-1500

RMS power at 2 Ohms 1000W X 1

RMS power at 4 Ohms 500W X 1

I have 3 JL AUDIO 10W6v2......I would liek to know if I use 2 of them how much power would each subwoofer receive? and if I use all 3 of them how much power would each receive then?

thank you

If that PPI amp is 1 OHM stable, I would use two and wire them down to one ohm.  Then you should pull a little more out of that amp and give the w6's the power that they need.  If you had it at four ohms, you would be underpowering the two of them.  As for the third, I wouldn't use it at all, regardless of how you wire it up.

If I use 2 of them it wont run the amp at 2 Ohms? that would be enough power 1000w? Can I do that?.......I might just go with Alpine MRD-M500 instead one for each subwoofer but I didnt want to change amps.....

really there is no best way to wire these.   if you wire the subs together all 3   in parrallel, with 8 ohm per sub and a 2.66 ohm load on the amp, but you would only get 700-800 totaal off the amp, this would underpower the subs.     if you wire each sub all to 2 ohm each then parrallel then you get .66    way below the amps recomendations.      with 2 subs you can only get a 1 or a 4 ohm load,   neither which are ideal for the subs/ amp.       Either look into another amp, or purchase another one like you have to run one per sub.

Running the amp at 2 ohms will be fine. Nominal impdedance really means nothing.

except he cant achieve a 2 ohm load,    only a 2.66 with all the subs, which would underpower them quite a bit

you can run 2 d2 subs perfectly,   wire the 2 coild in series to get 4 ohm per sub then wire the 2 sub in parrallel to get a 2 ohm load,    this would be perfect for your amp and subs.    If you wired all 3 subs like this you would get a 1.33 ohm load, below the 2 ohm rating..I can not recommend doing this unless you called PPI and checked to see if the amp could handle it
