im gonna be layin some tweed down on my door panels, whats the best adhesive to use, i was thinking about using weldwood contact cement that u can get from like home depot??

Tweed is so 96.
Well, you would use spray glue or contact cement. Coat both sides (door panel and back side of tweed). Let it set for 5-10 minutes and tack up. Then carefully apply the fabric to the panel. Be careful when applying because it will stick like all hell.

tweed looks good depending on how u do it. im doin fiberglass/tweed door panels

Tweed don't hold up too well. It frays and is hard as hell to clean.

Yeah, in about a year the tweed will begin to fall apart, come unglued, unravel, and look like crap. Sorry but I HATE TWEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
