i have question  lexus 1997 Lx 450  do i need any bypass modual fpr remot  starter  and if i do what is it.

Hi everyone

i need  realy help to connect  door lock  unlock for lexus  lx450 1997

the r/s is bulldog  delux 500 . when i push  the  door lock  unlock botems

on transmeter  ther is click  but ther is no any signal coming from the wires  i tested with  digital voltmeter  and with test light  no any volt  just click from the

unit  i spent  mor than 8 hours  without any result 

any  help  pleas

it is a (-) output from the alarm. Did u test for that? If still no signal from the DL wires, I would think you need a new brain.

Hi guys

I installed bulldoge remot starter  delux 500 in Lexus 1997 Lx450  iconnect all the wires exept the tach wire becaus i cuoldnt  located the wire  the car cranks and stops and dosnt start again  and every thing stays on  and thr lcd transmeter shows the car has started . what i know if the car sometimes dosnt start first time should start  2th or 3th time . so anyone can help me please.

You need a transponder bypass for that vehicle. the 555F is normally the best bet. Put your key in the ignition and see if the car will remote start via the remote.

since you cant find the tach wire see if the alarm has a current sensing option to replace the tach. if not then you need to find the tach. using a meter set it to AC and it should increase with the engine RPM while probing tach wire.

If you can't locate a tach wire your alarm should be able to learn a fuel injector control wire. My wife's lexus I found the Tach wire under the dash. It was an orange 22awg wire.

If that fails then the next best thing is to garb a fuel injector wire. If you pull apart the electrical connector to an injector you should see 3 wires. 1 will be +12 volsts, 1 will be groud, and 1 will be the contorl wire. Thats the wire you want.
