I recently built a custom fiberglass box to fit my car, and i let it cure for about a week before i mounted the sub, but when i put it in my car on hot days it smell horribly  of fiberglass.  Is that bad for my sub?  And also how well does dynamat stick to unsanded fiberglass?  Would i be wasting my dynamat to do the inside of the box?

That smell should go away soon. I don't see how it would hurt your speaker. May hurt you though. Being confined in a tight space with resin vapors can't be healthy. But don't worry, it hasn't killed me yet. As far as the dynamat, it probly won't stick on it's own, but you most likely don't need it anyway.

OK, I am borrowing from an older post here, but here is what you do for the smell and odor.

Take a normal 3 for $0.99 cent onion and cut it in half.  Sautee one half for the NY Strip Steak on the grill and put the other half near you FG sub box.  Change out accoridngly until the smell is gone.  And YES it does work!

or use an apple...or if you want to be really cool, you can buy things at paint stores that will pull out the odor.... as far as the dynamat goes... I have heard a lot of people who put the trunk bed liner inside of their boxes and I have heard it works, as far as dynamat goes tho, it would stick but it would take a lot of prep making sure there is no dust on it and it wouldn't stay for very long... try the bed spray of the sound deadner in a can.... good luck
