sorry if this is sort of a simple question but i could not find anything through searching. i have an eclipse DA7232 amp and was wondering if it is harmfull to the amp to only use one channel, and leave the other channel not hooked up to anything.

Why would yo do such a thing?!? While it is not harmful to the amp, I cannot think of even ONE reason to do that... If you wanted to do that, why didn't you buy the monoblock version of it? (the DA7122)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Believe me when i say i would like nothing more than to hook up both channels to both of my titaniums and call it good (its been my goal for i don't know how long). it's just been one thing after another f*ing up on my car that takes away all my audio money, consequently i can't afford to put a HO alternator to properly feed both channels of that amp. it sucks. but it's even worse not having any beat so i decided just to run one sub with one of the channels with my stock alt in the mean time. weak, i know, but it's better than nothing.
