Just got a question regarding the grounding of a head unit. If the factory harness has the black ground running in it should I hook up the ground from the HU harness to that or should the HU ground be run to somewhere else? I guess what i want to know is cani connect black to black from hu to factory harness? Thanks

I always ground to the factory harness unless there is a wiring problem, in which case I run my own ground.  If the factory stereo was working, the ground was good.  If you're not sure, just hook it up to a multi meter and see what resistance it reads.  It should read 0.00 if it's a good ground.
