My girlfriend had a new viper 350hv installed on her 99 Grand prix. it works fine except they didin't hookup the option for remote trunk pop even though there is an aux button and output on the module for that purpose. How can i add the trunk release on the aux for her?

ok so i think i got it. The 2nd channel output only powers 200 mA for the trunk release selinoid. So i'll need to use a relay inorder to boost the power to the trunk release? Correct? And since its also a (-) output ill have to use the (+) output prong thingy to power the wire running to the WHITE/ black wire that powers the release. anyone see anything wrong with what i said so far? Can i use tap into the red ignition wire thats tapped into for me security module or do i need to find another constant 12v scource?

Trunk/Hatch Release BLACK/ white  +  release switch
Notes: On vehicles with keyless entry, can also use brown (-) at the trunk release relay to the left of the steering column.

if you have keyless entry you don't need a relay just use the brown (-) trunk release relay. if you don't have keyless use relay like that.
