I just wanted to post to see if refurbished is really as bad as people think it is. I know that most people would like to have a new or refurb. but is it really that bad

People all seem to have different opinions about this one. I personally don't think buying factory refurbished gear is a bad idea.
You will see that most people who own refurb gear are very happy with it and always recommend it. I think there is psychological aspect where people need the new gear feel.
Weigh your options, besides the right refurb gear should come with a warranty.

It's been said that most refurb products are better than when they were brand spankin new. Most of the testing and QC processes are more exhaustive than regular QC.
