I am new to this board, but not new to fiberglass. I have not done an enclosure this large yet so that is why i have questions. Very simply, the subs are power acoustic(owner purchased, dont know why) 340 oz 15 inchers. he has four of them and the the total enclosure size is 13.6 cu. feet. now 2 of the subs will fire into the car(back seat removed) and two will fire towards the trunk lid. The ports are coming through the back seat into the car. Heres my question. how many much reinforcement is needed on this type of enclosure, and what are the chances the box will blow apart if not enough layers are applied(being the box is ported and not sealed). any other feedback on this subject is greatly appreciated as well. thanks in advance.

Probably up to 7 layers of glass done 2 layers at a time should hold. The worst that could happen is that you mount the subs and the glass flexes because of the weight. In this case add more glass. As for blowing itself apart, I don't think you need to worry about that.
