Ive installed a Ai606 in my 2000 Pug, i havenet fit the immobilisers yet though as i have a good one already on there.

But when i lock the car it beeps 3 time which indicates something in the manual it says Doors (-) what does this mean i increased the pulse to 4secs so that the car locked the deadlocks.

Also the car doors do not lock when the ignition is started does anyone have any ideas, and i cant press the button on the fob to lock the doors either, but the doors lock when i arm with the fob.

Really confused would be greatful for any help.

Thanks
Ian

i have fitted two of these alarms havent had any problems like that check all trigger inputs and wire the immob wires the correct way, also you might have to program the ignition locking but it should be on default settings.

I have checked the bonnet switch, and door switchs they all work fine, some one has told me i could be down to the int light delay causing it not to arm correctly.

Also i havent wired up my immboliser circuits yet, so they shouldnt make any difference.

3 chirps means that the door trigger is still active on arming. this is usually caused by an interior light delay. software switch 3-6 should be changed to take this into account.
Some cars wont allow the locks to be activated when the ignition is active. This can sometimes be overcome by rewiring the locking system in the drivers door but generally it is easier just to write the feature off.
