This amp I am looking at is supposed to be 2400 watts at 1 ohm, now i emailed the company cause I couldnt find any pictures of the fuses on the amp to make sure it can put out that kind of power. Now they emailed me back and said the amplifier has a current draw of 90, so is the power reachable or is it another flea market amp. Oh I forgot the amplifier is a niche class d amp. I can get it new for 175.00 and that is a good deal so im trying to see if its worth it.

Niche audio is another in the long line of Chinese products with inflated ratings.  Let's see, Ohm's Law states that power = DC voltage multiplied by current.  So assuming best case scenario, 14.4V X 90 amps = 1296 max input power.  Assuming this has a high-quality class D chipset @ 90% efficiency, that would make estimated max output power = 1166 watts.

thanks, that was the answer I was looking for because I kinda of figured that it wasnt a true number of what kind of power that the amplifier could reach.
