i used the diagram provided to install an aftermarket stereo in my 1989 Crown Victoria LX. I connected all the wires correctly but their is no sound coming from the speakers my new deck powers on and plays CD's just no sound from the speakers. Someone said that it might have a built in amplifier if this is the problem can Someone please tell me what the solution is.

have you hooked up the blue/white wire in the harness? that is your amp turn-on wire.
