My memory is so terrible.

What I would like to know is, on this truck is the door switch mounted on the side of the dash like the 95-98 chev trucks?  In other words, can you hold it closed with your finger?  If so, pop it out, push from under the dash out.  It will be hard to get you hand up there but you should be able to manage.
Now, if my memory serves me, there should be 3 wires.  One will be black (ground)  One will be tan (this turns the dome lights on)  And I think there is a third (Purple??) .  I think the third wire is common between all the doors and is independent of the dome lights.  In other words, you could hook your alarm triger to it and your dome light output to the tan wire and have no problems.

Let me know how you make out.

Yes there is a switch mounted to the dash but it doesn't controll the dome light at all, just a buzzer. It is a 4-door s-10 blazer and the dome light comes on when you lift the door handle, even if the doors are locked.

There is no other wire other than the WHITE wire that catches all the door triggers. The WHITE wire catches all doors, but reads the delay. To keep the alarm from reading the delay, place a diode in-line on the white door trigger wire with the anode towards the keyless module. Attach your door trigger wire to the cathode side of the diode. On non-keyless models there is a module with 5 wires located where the keyless normally resides. The white wire there catches only the front two doors. To catch the rear doors use the white wire at the drivers side rear pin switch.

according to the diagram above(the bottom diode) if I hook the cathode side to the alarm it will never recieve the negative pulse to trigger the alarm, right?

Could I use the pulse off of the lock wire like jrilla suggested? Then the dome light would be off at the same time the alarm is armed. Will this work?

I know you are not asking me, but as long as you can find the wire that shuts off your lights when you lock your doors with the factory remote, and you use a relay from your door locks to create a negative pulse to pulse that wire, and diode isolate it, then it will definatley work.  I have the same setup in my own car and I had some of the same thoughts you had when I installed it, but it will work.  It has been a while since I did this on mine, so I dont remember which wire it is that shuts off the light, but if you probe it with a ground it will shut them off.

What if I just tapped off the (-) lock output of my alarm and diode isolate then I will not have to use a relay, Right?

So then I could use the light under the dash for the trigger on all doors, and I won't have to pick up the rear doors at the rear switch, right?
