I have a 96 cougar and Im installing a Autopage 750lcd, the manual has a diagram of the starter kill and it goes like this 86 to the alarm output, 85 to the RED / lt. green ignition wire, 87a connected to the motor side of the RED / lt. blue starter wire, and 30 to the key side of the RED / lt. blue starter wire.   The problem is wiring it that way, when I try to start the car with the key, the alarm is disarmed the car starts before I crank it.  if reverse 87a and 30 the car wont start all with the key and the alarm is disarmed.  its driving me crazy any help would be great.  and I didnt mention there is a diode between 86 and 85 with cathode facing 85.
