I have a '94 Integra (2 door hatch) and want to get Sirius. I already have a Kenwood Sirius ready receiver. I know they say to mount the antenna on the roof with at least 10 inches of metal all around it, but I don't want it to look like shhh. I am kind of anal about the way shhh looks (kind of a daily driver show car, except for winter). Any suggestions? I have a sunroof and a wing, so that kind of limits things, but I am sick of FM radio, and getting tired of my very large music collection.
Any suggestions?

Since it's your vehicle you can do some trial and error. A lot of people have had good luck placing the antennas INSIDE the vehicle on the dash or the rear deck (maybe not an option with a hatchback..). If you find you have reception problems or a lot of cutting in and out, then move the antenna outside. I prefer centered on the roof near the top of the back window/hatch myself, but centered on the front works too. You could also just have the antenna more temp mounted so at a show you could just grab it and throw it in the glovebox or something. Also make sure you get one of the newer style small magnetic antennas. The old ones were huge and ugly.. Good luck,
Mike

If you have the space, you might try the third brake light on the hatch.

Done a few cars like this, always work fine and look good too.

any pics of the third brake light area? inside or outside? I removed my third brake light because I have a light on my spoiler and I am putting a mini club laser where the third brake light would be (inside). i was thinking maybe right behind the sunroof

No pics sorry. It was a benz. We removed the led panel and roto zipped a notch for the wire. So when you look at the back of the car the antenna is in between the window and light assembly.

The sunroof idea might be good, but make sure not to ever pinch the antenna wire, they can be easily damaged.
