I have recently installed an Alpine SEC-8063 alarm system in my vehicle.  Lately I've been looking at some of the optional accessories for my system.  On my system's wiring diagram an optional Alpine SEC-8348 "Infared Audio Interface" is listed.  Can anyone tell me anything about this?  (like what exactly it can be used for, and if you know anyone who has used one before)

Thanks.

The 8348 is an option used so you can hook up radio functions to the 8063 and have them remote controlled through the alarm remote. You can turn on /off radio, turn volume up/down, track or scan ahead disks, select tuner, CD or tape/changer, etc....

That's an awesome feature, do they have anything like that for Viper alarms?
