Hey guys, right now i have an amp powering one sub running at 2 ohms im pretty sure its putting out around 300 watts rms every once in a while the amp wont turn on and then suddenly it will kick in, or it will be on and turn off. I have checked all the connections and restripped and crimped the wires just to be sure, checked all the fuses. Could it be that my battery is low or discharging? any suggestions ?

The amp is a Kenwood Class D Mono amp KAC8101D  and the sub is a pioneer premeir TSW126, DVC voice coils are four ohms, stock cd player the power is controlled by a switch, however i tried running it without the switch and two wires together and got the same problem.

Troubleshoot the remote turn on by removing the wire from the amp and replacing it with a second wire routed to a switched ign source.  This wire routing is a temporary measure for troubleshooting purposes and doesn't have to be concealed at this point.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
