Shock sensor problem

not disabled, it should be alot less sensitive.

We sell Autopage and it lets you bypass the shock sensor if you are parking in the street or anything like that.

Do you think mine might be defective though?  Even if it doesn't disable it, should it go off from things like outside AC units 20 feet away, etc?  I have to keep my car outside so I need it to be really unsensitive, it just sucks that I can't use the sensor at all (its currently unhooked).  Like if somebody busts my window out and takes my system I won't know the difference...that worries me.  I could care less about the chirp/warning function of it, would it be possible to buy one that is just one-stage that would work with my alarm?

you can always cut the warn away trigger off.

But it should work like intended.  Who cares about warn away anyway!

I thought shock sensors weren't suppose to pick up all glass breaks because the glass is so brittle that the vibrations may not get through the car frame to trigger the shock sensor.  That is why DEI has that microphone based glass break sensor.
