Ok, my girlfriends old junkie mtx sysytem finally kicked the bucket (torn cones, blown amp etc.). She has a 300-350 dollar budget. I am just looking for some suggestions because i am not sure what to get with this budget. Thanks in advance.

You mean your girlfriends' sub/amp combo kicked the bucket?

Are you using an aftermarket cd player or just the stock?

Try one of these packages from Sounddomain.

If you're starting from stock again then I would recommend a good HU, and some descent mains.
HU = ~$100~$150
Speakers = ~$150 for four.
THat puts right at your limit.

That package from ebay is pretty crappy. Those are the bottom of the line Kicker subs, ive never even heard of that amp but it looks very cheap and those tweeters are sure to sound terrible.
Of all the promotional packages on cardomain I would suggest this one.
if you want to go with a decent HU and speakers like Poormanq said, dont bother with 4 speakers, but get two good front ones instead. Leave stock rears in for fill or just toss em.

Well if you want to stay under that..you may not like your results. But if you just want something to "hear" you can go to your local wal-mart and come out with subs, speakers, wiring, and a radio for under 300. (This is not intended to insult anyone, just a thought.)
