I currently have the alpine ivad300 with the mrd m1000 amp installed. i just installed the amp link cable kce 510m. My problem is i can seem to find the amp on my head unit. Is there something on the amp that needs to be shut off or does my deck just not work with this amp?

Thanks

You should access by hitting the SYS. button, touching the screen on i-Personalize and then touching AMPLIFIER LINK. This should give you the menu for adjustments.

Ive tryed that but the amp link isnt there. My manual says the link works with the m301 and m501. im kinda hoping the manual is outdated and the m1000 works. Cant seem to get any help from alpine.

Sorry, missread your amp model. It will only work with the MRD-M1001. The MRD-M1000 will work with the remote bass control model RUX-4280 only.
