well ive been reading your posts for some time now and found them to be very helpfull so i decided to make a center console to house a bottle of nitrous mallary spark control three gauges and radio plus switches please let me know what you think

That looks good what is the center consoul going in. I like that color orange too.

Looks good man! How much glass did you have to lay? doesn't look like it was too much...you kept the sides (and some of the top portion) wood right and just sanded the corners? So probably about two layers (less than one full mat) of glass just for bracing support and structural design on the top huh? Came out Excellent. How long did it take you? Paint looks sweet too.

the console is going in a 70 chevy cst truck we picked hugger orange for the color didnt take much glass just for the radio and gauge pods i glassed the inside curve and covered with foam and pading will get more picks up tomorrow with it installed and the switchbox in

I recognize that dash, gas tank location, and B&M shifter...I used to have a '68 GMC stepside...beautiful truck...til I hit a stray rotweiller and ruined it. Your project came out beautiful and you truck looks great from the inside.

Do you have any more pics of the glass being laid around the gauges, just curious how you got the shapes. Nice work .

no dont have any  but i cut 2 1/4 inch plugs and pushed them through the fleece and pulled back the fleece with wire and laid resin it was more a spandex material so it formed real nice

I don't like the color, but it's not my truck so who cares what I think.first fiberglass project pics -- posted image. I do however like the project. Really nice work.
