I know there are tons of posts on how its imposible to bypass the avic n2, so is there anyway to go back to the avic n1, the only reason i bought this system is i have no back window and i need a full screen rear view, when i upgraded I lost that , I know that you can have split screen but that does cut off some of the road.

I am noi that mechanicaly inclined so for me to take out the radio and send it back to pioneer after spending 300 for that damn cd only to spend more to take it ot a store and rip it out to send it to pioneer and spend more monety to downgrade it seems like extortion!

There are just as many post telling you that you can't revert back to the N1 software as there are saying you can't bypass the N2. So your answer is no. Your problem is an easy one to solve though. Put a toggle switch on the reverse wire.
