i would like to know  how to take the stereo out ,how does the top part (the heater vents )come off so ican get to the screws?

there is a small felt pad at the top......use a hook tool to pop it out. remove two screws and pull out the whole top vent assembley out.

remove the shifter ring assembly around the shifter by gently prying it up with a dash removel tool.

remove switch assembly just under radio by simply putting your hand underneath it and pulling it forward.

remove four screws surrounding radio and you are good to go!

warning! Be very carefull removing this radio....there is only about an 1/8th of an inch on either side for clearance when pulling it out. Use a protective cloth to wrap radio in and duct tap all sides of the dash before removing. This will ensure that you will not scratch the dash.
