Try going straight from the manufacturer... or call a dealer and see if they have any that are broken with working faceplates... You never know... this is probably what i would do. Whats the model number? it might be worth it to just buy a new one.

I dont know about your deck, but with my kenwood It came with a piece of paper with a a number on it. it said if i needed a new face I need the number... so it might be tough to get a new face without teh proper documentation... just an idea.

I dont think the documentation is going to be that big of a deal. More than likely the cost of the faceplate will outweigh the value of the deck. But it doesnt hurt to try and see what you can do.
I would say come here and let us know what, if anything you've found out and we can probably help you decide a little better what to do.

go to a parts store and get a "Hanes" or "Chiltons" manual.
