I would like to hook up a remote starter to my truck

It is a diesel so it would have to have a delay for the glow plugs.

Is this possible?

If so what brand would I look for?

And any info on the install would be appreciated.

Thanks

Brent

www.designtech-intl.com also has diesel-ready units as well.  I have put in a few of these units and they go in quick/easy, are readily available, and have a good support dept.   They also make decent add-on units if you already have a remote keyless and want to integrate into one remote.

Oh yeah, the equipt. is inexpensive too :)

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Agreed on the DEI - but Audiovox?  icky.                    Im also interested in any links you may have, much appreciated.

Kirkster - If you have the initiative, you've got a forum full of know how ;).  Just dont take any shortcuts, and don't cheap out when it comes to splicing/insulating and you'll be fine.
