I just did a remote start on a 1995 Chevrolet Astro van. It took me forever to find the damn starter wire (purple). I finally found it by tracing it from the actual ign switch assembly. It was wrapped inside the yellow tubing along with the airbag wiring. In all my years of installing, I've NEVER encountered a situation like this. I was kinda scared to even test this wire being that it was wrapped in that yellow tubing, but sure enough it was the starter wire. Has anyone else ever seen this on any other vehicles?? If so, please list them.

Nope, I have done many Astro Van's in the past and the starter wire was right with the other ignition wires.

There were a small percent of Astro van starter wire located inside the air big wiring.
don't feel bad if you encounter one.

Just making sure I aint goin crazy here. I just wish I knew ahead of time to LOOK in the airbag wiring, istead of digging all around like a fool.
