I would like to put a string of 5 led's under my dash to light up the floor. I would like the led's intensity to be controlled by the dash dimmer. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions?

This is for an 04 chevy silverado.

I would imagine you could wire up a relay and have that do it... I dont have enough experience with LED's to confirm that
