fog lights trouble shooting

i  bought aftermarket fog lights and installed them with their own wiring kit, everything is correct, as far as wiring. but my right fog light is dimmer than the left, and i'd like to know why?

it's installed on a 2000 mitsu. mirage de 1.8L 4dr....by the way

measure the voltage to the fog lights, and check for good ground. My bet is on a bad ground.

should i do a voltage drop test on it ?

as far as the bad ground ,i checked the ground from the light to the harness...and i connected the gnd to the batt. gnd, is that ok, or should i put it to the frame of the car?

i connected the ground to the frame i sanded of the paint to bare metal. the gnd is  good but as the volts go ..... the left pulls in more volts by like 3v more than the right, ....what should i do now?

If the problem is not with the wires, the light itself may be faulty. Maybe if you exchange it, they might work beter. Sometimes new stuff doesn't always work perfectly.

Were they hooked up in series or they draw power from the the battery directly?
