I don't recomend buying off ebay unless the seller is an authorized dealer... but to answer your question, in general the best two on your list are the Diamond and the Memphis.  Hifonics is in the next tier down but they make a very nice amp, and "interfire" is something I've never heard of, although their website looks like they are another Chinese import company.

Spend a little more and get yourself a decent amp. Depending on what your trying to power ( you did not mention this in your post ) you could get away with a reliable brand name 2 channel amp and bridging it.

Air pressure only affects the loudness of a sub. You can have the loudest sub in the neighborhood, and it still sound horrible. You need sound quality to make it worthwhile.

If you're going to buy a good, quality amplifier, then just save up some money, and get a good quality subwoofer to match it. If you are low on cash, then I would suggest that you visit www.ikesound.com, they have the lowest prices that i've ever seen. And on good stuff as well.

Good luck, and hope it turns out great.

Why did you get rid of your 1000/1? It's pretty well impossible to find an equivalent amplifier to the Jl for around $300.
