here's my .02 cents and read all before thinking too quick and this may not be your cure all but it needs to be corrected and VELOCITY MOTORS you may be right also

and another question?? i'm suprised your brain doesn't have a dedicated relay out second start/ign/access wire that's selectable but it must not so............

you need 85 to GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING(please read on)

you need 86 to go to (+) starter signal

you need 87 to ground

you need 30 w/ 180 ohms to second starter wire

so you're thinking well this is the same but it's really not

with your setup everytime you're starting the van even with the ign. key and no remote start your relay you have installed for the second starter wire is still energizing and putting the resistance on the wire AGAIN along with the resistance through the ign. switch

that's why you need 85 to GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING so it only energizes when you remote start instead of all the time

now i wouldn't see why that would illuminate the CEL but I've seen more crazy things happen installing remote starts

oh and if you're already using the ground out when running to trigger your bypass module for the sentry key just branch the ground out off into two and diode isolate both with the bands facing the brain and you'll have one for the second starter relay and the bypass module you're using if any at all

well hope this helps and hope it doesn't confuse you but between us all we should be able to get your customer's car fixed up oh and what I've did on pretty much any Chrylser product in the past is just disconnet the bat. for about fifteen min. to turn off the CEL with small problems like you're having
