fugit, if you haven't commited yourself fiscally to the Diamonds.. get the HD series braxials and call it a day. Disconnect those freakin dash tweets and drop your xover in the door somewhere. I'd be easy. It almost sounds like you are looking for an excuse. I mean those braxials are *designed* for ppl with your installation situation. Grab 'em!
To be totally honest with you, I'd take the CDT's over the Diamonds anyway, and so would everyone I know.
I promise, the braxial system will sound *outstanding*
