my driver side rear door trigger on my wagon has rusted out,  does anybody know what i can do to get the "open door light" on my dash off..... i pulled the trigger and i couldn't find a single wire behind it.... is there a wire going down the driver side of my car that i can simply ground out?

fish around in there it has to be behind where the switch was
