If your keyless sys. has trunk pop, then it's possible to do this AS LONG AS THE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE DOES NOT ALSO WORK WITH THE TRUNK POP SWITCH IN THE CAR!!!. you have to find the keyless module and cut the output to the trunk solenoid. The output of the module will probably be +12 volts so you would have to use a relay to switch it to a ground output.  Also check to see if the trunk pop button on your remote works while your car is running! This is so you can have control of the car start and shut it down if you need to. I have done this on a 1998 Nissan Maxima. If you don't want to do all that, then get a keyless entry/ carstart piece so this way you would have all your options and just toss your factory remotes in a drawer
