i have a kicker 850x4 4-channel amp which pushes around 150w rms x 4 at 4 ohms. I was looking at either the infinity kappa perfects, kicker rs components, or the mtx high end components. i want my speakers to sound awesome, if you have any other reccomendations please let me know but what do you think will sound the best?

http://www.bostonacoustics.com/ca_products.asp?CategoryID=14... the Pro Series.
http://www.thezeb.com/c-HD-Component-Systems-7794.htm.. you'd never hear of these but you'd be amazed of what comes out of this little specialty manufacturer.
http://www.phoenixgold.com/2004/titaniumelitespeakers.html.. apparently relabled Morel stuff.
IMO, MTX*anything* and Kicker*anything* would sound far inferior than anything above.
The Kappa Perfect line however, is absolutely oustanding. I like those.

These MTX comps do look interesting, and probably could compete with the above mentioned. MTX comps
