I looked around just about everywhere and haven't found a source. Does anyone where/if 2" tweeters are sold? I made 2" tweeter pods out of fiberglass first without looking for actual tweeters. Oops! Thanks in advance.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

That sucks, I hate it when I have to remake things because they don't fit or whatnot.
Regardless, I would suggest just remaking the tweeter pods, if they are too big, you can probably just fill in some of the hole that the tweeters are supposed to fit in without remaking the whole thing.
I would think this would be easier than trying to find speakers that might not exist, and if you do find them, they may be of crap quality and then what?
Bite the bullet, cut your losses, and fix the pods would be my suggestion.

logiryan, you should be able to find tweeter assemblies that will fit your project.  Although the tweeter itself would be only 3/4" or 1", the casing that it is installed in is bigger.  I looked at the casing that came with my 3/4" tweeters and it measures 1 7/8" at the widest point, so you should be okay.  Probably with the 1" size the casing would be bigger than that.  You just might have to do some slight modification.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
