hi i have a problem with a ford mondeo it is a 2000 model i have not checked this out myself but what i have been told is that on disarm the doors unock but when you open the door it will sound the alarm but if you disarm it twice before you open the door it will not sound, what i think anyone will agree on is there is obviously a fault with the alarm moduel but how could this have just started doing this can it be fixed by wiring a wire from the door unlock pulse to another wire that disarms and turns off the alarm i have checked out the wiring info on this car but it doesnt give much info thanks in advance for any help

The problem usually with the Ford is that the interior light comes on on dissarm setting the alarm off !!!

the second press of the button confirms the disarm but it sounds just enough to pee the Nieghbours off at 4am.

I dont know if thats your prob or what but its one to look out for.

You can get an add on module that delays the light for a sec preventing it from setting off the alarm.

what alarm is it? Toad? Sigma?
