So as far as port noise goes, I should be good using just one 4" port?
Also, if I decide to use 2 ports on a box...
Using WinISD, if you select 2 under Number of Ports, then do you just take the port length and devide it by two and make each port that long. Or does it want you to make each port that long?

1.  No, I posted the minimum opening size earlier in this thread when I gave you box specs.  That is, the minimum size according to the rule that there shall be NO port noise at 300 watts.  Noise:  something that you can hear that detracts from the sounds you want to hear.  Naturally, you won't be at 300 watts very often, so it's up to you whether you want to use just a 4".  ...And port noise is in the ear of the beholder.

2.  You don't do any division.  The program is giving you the sizes of two ports.

And BTW, you should have this information using the WinISD Pro.  Put 300 watts in as the power (you'll see the  signal tab), then go to the SPL chart ( the pull-down menu, rear port air velocity ) and see what it peaks at in ft./sec..  You want 110 or less.  If it's under 110 then your port opening is of sufficient square inches.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
