Im looking to get a pair of these 12's in a hatchback. I would like some opinions on the sound and quality of these subs. Any recomendations for an amp for these subs? I have a budget for around $200 for an amp.

the comp VR's are good subs they do well in sealed box's if you on a budget checkout www.ikesound.com

I had one Comp12vr with a Kicker 600.1 amplifier. It was in a sealed box at about 1.3 cubic feet. I found that, compared to other subs that I've used, this sub hits the LOW bass notes very well, but doesn't reproduce everything in the spectrum as nicely. All in all, it is a very good sub though.
