Couple days ago my sub just stopped working. No crackle, no distortion, just went out completely. Here's my setup:
4 channel MTX 564 amp ----> (4) infinity kappa speakers
-- distribution block --
mono 1200D orion amp ----> wired @ 1 OHM to Orion H2.2 sub
I got it done professionally, and before I take it to them, I'd like some opinions on what's wrong. My normal speakers and MTX amp work fine, but my sub is like permanently shut off. It's not getting any power. I'm thinking maybe I fried the amp because the sub didnt distort or crackle and there was no static when it went out (2 days ago) or since.
Does this mean it's the amp that's connected to the sub? Maybe a loose wire somewhere? It seems the sub isn't getting power at all, so I don't think I blew it.
Opinions please Sub stopped working, what's wrong? -- posted image.

Try hooking up another sub to the amp, or maybe even a speaker just dont turn it up and see if you get any response.  Does the orion amp have a power led light, if so, Is it on, so that you know it is getting power and is still grounded?  If it doesn't, check the ground and make sure it is still connected well.  If the amp is working based on these few things, than pull the sub and check the connections, I had a kappa sub just stop once and when I checked it the positive line connected to the coil had ripped away from the driver where it entered into the coil *exchanged on warranty*Sub stopped working, what's wrong? -- posted image.  Hook the sub up to another source and see if it gets any response.  Just troubleshoot the usual things and narrow it down!
